Custom, accurate and cost-efficient sheet metal solutions

Folding – or bending – is one of the main processing methods for steel and sheet metal, and it requires utmost precision across all process steps. In this swarf-free sheet metal forming method, the material is shaped by exerting mechanical force

Folding in XXL format

At Mudersbach, we use four state-of-the-art CNC-controlled press brakes that allow us to process material lengths of up to 15,400 mm and material thicknesses of up to 150 mm. We can fold any type of sheet metal and create custom components with complex shapes, small radiuses and large or small leg lengths. We devise individual solutions and products for various applications and industries. Our high-capacity machinery enables us to fulfil orders within the shortest timeframes.

Our press brakes

We have four press brakes with comprehensive equipment for virtually any material type and thickness:

  • Capacity: 300 t/Bending length: 3,000 mm for up to 15 mm thick metals
  • Capacity: 550 t/Bending length: 6,000 mm for up to 20 mm thick metals
  • Capacity: 900 t/Bending length: 4,500 mm for up to 80 mm thick metals
  • Capacity: 2,600 t/Bending length: 15,400 mm for virtually any metal type and thicknesses

Your specialist for metal forming technology

Mudersbach’s product portfolio ranges from small, thin-walled section shapes to thick vessel shells, cones and other complex shapes. Our CNC machines can handle press capacities of up to 2,600 t, therefore we can often fold metals without or with very little bend allowance.
