Folding – or bending – is one of the main processing methods for steel and sheet metal, and it requires utmost precision across all process steps. In this swarf-free sheet metal forming method, the material is shaped by exerting mechanical force.
At Mudersbach, we use four state-of-the-art CNC-controlled press brakes that allow us to process material lengths of up to 15,400 mm and material thicknesses of up to 150 mm. We can fold any type of sheet metal and create custom components with complex shapes, small radiuses and large or small leg lengths. We devise individual solutions and products for various applications and industries. Our high-capacity machinery enables us to fulfil orders within the shortest timeframes.
Mudersbach’s product portfolio ranges from small, thin-walled section shapes to thick vessel shells, cones and other complex shapes. Our CNC machines can handle press capacities of up to 2,600 t, therefore we can often fold metals without or with very little bend allowance.
